A 52-year-old man and his two minor grandchildren were killed after a speeding Mahindra Thar ran them over in Haryana's Pataudi.
The deceased were identified as Subhash Khan and his grandchildren, Ishant (10) and Jaid (8), who were visiting their grandfather from Rajasthan.
The trio was walking back home after dinner when they were hit by the Thar, which was being driven at high speed.
According to eyewitnesses, the Thar driver fled the scene without helping the victims, but was later identified and will be arrested soon.
An FIR will be registered against the Thar driver under sections 106 and 281 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
