Tamil Nadu Elections: DMK, AIADMK Candidates File Nominations

Six candidates from the DMK, AIADMK, and their allies filed nominations on Thursday for the Rajya Sabha election.
Among them, four were from the ruling DMK combine and two from the opposition AIADMK.
Notable candidates include Trichy N Siva (DMK) and M Thambidurai (AIADMK), both veterans.
Chief Minister MK Stalin accompanied the four DMK candidates during the nomination submission on the last day.
The election will be held on March 16 if required, following nomination scrutiny on March 6.
