The Tata Consultancy Services BPO case in Nashik has taken a new turn as investigators have made fresh revelations against Nida Khan, one of the prime accused. Khan is accused of hurting a woman's religious sentiments and coercing her into converting to Islam.

The woman, who is from the Scheduled Caste community, has accused Khan of changing her name to 'Haniya' and promising her a job in Malaysia in exchange for converting to Islam. Khan allegedly gave the woman training on how to offer namaz and wear hijab at her house.

The Special Investigation Team probing the case has found crucial leads and argued that Khan's custodial interrogation is necessary for further investigation. The court has reserved its order on Nida Khan's bail hearing and may announce its decision on May 2.
