The TCS Nashik case has reached the Supreme Court of India, with a plea filed by advocate Ashwini Kumar Upadhyay.
The plea states that the 'organized religious conversion in Nashik has shaken the conscience of citizens across the country.'
It also calls for the Centre and state government to take strict steps to control religious conversion.
The case involves allegations of sexual, mental, and religious harassment, with multiple FIRs filed over the past two months.
A total of eight people have been arrested, while one female accused is on the run.
An SIT panel has been formed to probe the case, along with the National Commission of Women taking cognizance of the matter.
