Six women police personnel went undercover for 40 days to investigate rape and sexual harassment allegations at TCS in Nashik, Maharashtra.
The management of TCS has terminated seven of the eight employees named in the FIRs, including the HR manager, who is currently in police remand.
Eight FIRs were registered between March 26 and April 3, and a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to probe the case.
The SIT is also investigating whether the company followed existing mechanisms to address complaints of sexual and other kinds of harassment.
TCS has issued a statement saying it is cooperating with the police and has a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment and coercion.
