A 17-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed to death by another boy during an argument in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, amid Eid celebrations.
Deputy Chief Minister KP Maurya assured strict action and promised to hang the killers.
The incident occurred when the suspect called the boy over and asked if he had ever seen a goat being slaughtered, to which the boy replied no.
The suspect then pulled out a knife and stabbed the boy, who later succumbed to his injuries in a hospital in Noida.
The victim's mother alleged that her son was lured before being attacked and demanded justice.
The police have formed several teams to trace the suspect and have registered an FIR under sections 109(1) and 352.
