Janshakti Janata Dal president Tej Pratap Yadav, the son of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) founder Lalu Prasad Yadav, has sought political guidance from former strategist Prashant Kishor.

Tej Pratap Yadav has been struggling to find a foothold in Bihar politics since his expulsion from the RJD. He fought the 2025 Bihar assembly elections under his newly formed JJD but failed to win any seat, including his own bastion, Mahua.

Yadav called on Kishor, who is touring the state, at an undisclosed location and shared a video clip of the meeting on social media. The former Bihar minister described the discussion as "quite significant" and "in-depth" on the state's politics.

Tej Pratap Yadav's meeting with Prashant Kishor has sparked speculation about a potential alliance between the two, which could emerge as a "third front" in the state. However, Kishor has maintained that his party, Jan Suraaj Party, will not form an alliance with any other party.
