In a bold move ahead of the West Bengal assembly elections, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) has launched a stirring campaign song, 'Abar Jitbe Bangla', which translates to 'Bengal will win again'. The song, released on Saturday, aims to rally the people of Bengal and reiterate the party's commitment to its core values of 'Ma-Mati-Manush' (Mother-Soil-Human). The campaign song, 'Abar Jitbe Bangla', is a powerful tribute to Bengal's rich cultural heritage, featuring iconic figures like Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Swami Vivekananda, and Rabindranath Tagore. The visuals also include a poignant message for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting the importance of self-reliance and looking after one's own land first. TMC President and Mamata Banerjee's nephew, Abhishek Banerjee, has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of being 'Bangla-birodhi' (enemy of Bengal) and stripping its citizens of voting rights. He has alleged that the BJP is using central agencies to muzzle dissent and silence the voices of the people. The tension between the TMC and BJP escalated on Thursday when the Enforcement Directorate conducted search proceedings at the residence of I-PAC's head, Pratik Jain, in connection with a money laundering case. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee condemned the procedure and challenged the BJP to defeat her party democratically in the upcoming elections. The TMC supremo has accused the BJP of misusing central agencies for political vendetta, and has vowed to fight back against the party's attempts to silence the people of Bengal. The campaign song, 'Abar Jitbe Bangla', is a rallying cry for the people of Bengal to stand up against oppression and reclaim their democratic rights.
