Trinamool Congress MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar and several party MLAs attended BJP-led administrative meetings, sparking rumors of TMC unrest after its election loss.
Dastidar, along with TMC MLAs Anisur Rahaman Bidesh, Bina Mondal, and Abdul Matin Muhammad, attended a meeting chaired by CM Suvendu Adhikari in Nadia district.
Adhikari said the meeting was an opportunity for the double-engine government to benefit the people, and that rivalry should only exist during elections.
Dastidar cooperated and shook hands with Adhikari, saying she had been invited to similar meetings in the past but was never allowed to speak.
She was removed as TMC's chief whip in the Lok Sabha and had resigned as the party's Barasat district president, blaming corruption for the party's defeat.
Thirteen TMC MLAs attended another meeting in Siliguri, chaired by BJP MLA Nisith Pramanik.
