KRISHNAPUR GAMAIBARI, TRIPURA :
A Tricolour rally was organised in the Krishnapur Gamaibari constituency of Tripura on Tuesday to mark the commencement of the 80th year of India’s independence. The rally was organised by ‘Adarsha Mocha’ and witnessed enthusiastic participation from people across different sections of society.
School students, youth, senior citizens and members of the general public joined the rally, creating an atmosphere of spontaneous patriotism and national pride. Participants carried the Tricolour and expressed their respect for the nation while commemorating the country’s long journey since independence.
The initiative focused on connecting the younger generation with India’s glorious history of independence and encouraging them to develop a deeper sense of patriotism, responsibility and respect for the nation.
The organisers highlighted the Tricolour as a symbol of India’s unity, integrity, dignity and glory. The rally also sought to reinforce the values of national unity among citizens, particularly young people.
Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma was among those present at the event. His participation added significance to the programme, which aimed to inspire citizens to remember the sacrifices associated with India’s freedom struggle and carry forward the spirit of patriotism among future generations.
