Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Thursday and held discussions on matters concerning the development and welfare of Tripura.
During the meeting, Founder of the Tipra Motha Party Maharaja Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma and BJP North East Coordinator Dr. Sambit Patra were also present.
Sharing details of the meeting on social media, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that the discussions were “fruitful and constructive” and focused on matters of mutual importance as well as the development and welfare of the people of Tripura.
The meeting assumes significance as Tripura continues to focus on strengthening development initiatives, improving welfare measures and addressing issues concerning the state and its people. The presence of Maharaja Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma also highlighted the importance of coordination and dialogue among key political stakeholders on issues related to Tripura.
The meeting brought together senior leaders from the state and the Centre, with discussions expected to contribute to greater cooperation on development and welfare-related matters.
