In a shocking turn of events, the police in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, have arrested a man in connection with the murder of his 6-7 year-long lover, who was shot dead while driving her autorickshaw. Anita Chaudhary, 38, was found dead on the streets of Jhansi, with initial reports suggesting she had died in a tragic accident. However, a post-mortem examination revealed that she had been shot, prompting the police to launch a thorough investigation. The main accused, Mukesh Jha, had a tumultuous relationship with Anita, and his family had even filed a complaint against him. Despite this, Mukesh continued to pursue Anita, leading to a bitter dispute between them. The police arrested two of his relatives, Shivam and Manoj, in connection with the case, who later confessed to being involved in the crime. Mukesh, who was on the run, was finally apprehended after a tip-off, but not before he opened fire at the police. He was shot in the leg during a retaliatory firing and is currently undergoing treatment at a medical college. In a chilling confession, Mukesh revealed that he had killed Anita out of a sense of betrayal and hurt.
