Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) founder and actor-politician Vijay is set to re-engage with his constituents on Sunday, hosting a gathering in Kanchipuram district. This event marks his first public address in nearly two months, and organizers have made extensive preparations to ensure a smooth and secure experience. The event will take place at a private educational institution in Sunguvarchattiram, Kanchipuram district, with approximately 1,500 attendees having received QR-coded passes for entry. Party workers trained by retired police officials will manage crowd control, while private security agencies have been hired to maintain order. To cater to attendees, arrangements have been made for transportation, food, and water. Additionally, temporary barriers have been erected to prevent unauthorized entry into the venue. This public address comes after Vijay visited the families of Karur stampede victims last month and pledged support for those affected by the Parandur airport project in January, advocating for the project's implementation in areas without fertile lands and waterbodies.
