Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has inducted six new ministers into his cabinet, including two of cabinet rank and four ministers of state, ahead of the 2027 assembly elections.

The move is aimed at strengthening the BJP's socio-political base in the state and fine-tune equations in the party's favour.

Two ministers of state have been elevated to independent charge, including Ajit Pal and Somendra Tomar.
