Tipra Motha Party Demands Rights and Welfare for Tripura's Indigenous People
The Tipra Motha Party (TMP) organized a mass deputation and submitted a memorandum in Killa on November 14, 2024, underscoring their unified commitment to advancing the rights and welfare of Tripura's indigenous people. According to TTAADC CEM Purna Chandra Jamatia's Facebook post, the event saw active participation from Block Committee leaders.
The memorandum outlines three key demands:
● Immediate Implementation of the Tiprasa Accord.
● Immediate Conduct of Village Committee Election.
● Immediate Passage of the 125th Amendment to the Indian Constitution.
This demand program began on November 13 and will be held in every district of Tripura. Similarly, the deputation will be submitted in each district, demonstrating the party's dedication to their cause.
