Asian Games 2026, Day 13: India had a busy day while securing plenty in this final stretch of Asian Games 2026. To start off, it was the men's cricket team that demolished Sri Lanka in the semifinals to qualify for the gold-medal match against Pakistan. On the other hand, the men's hockey team won a thriller against Pakistan to reach the final.There were medals too. Manu Franchis and Noble Kurisinkal won silver in sailing, Ganesh Mani and Ratnam Thirumuru won the bronze in compound archery, and Nitesh Siwach secured a silver in the Greco-Roman wrestling. The men's squash team lost a close match to Malaysia, while both the men's and women's teams clinched bronze in the team event.Not everything went India's way. Inungambi Takhellambam failed to secure the bronze in Judo, Mansi Ahlawat also lost the bronze-medal bout, Sumit Nagal's defeat ended India's tennis campaign without a medal, while Pakistan knocked out the men's volleyball team in straight sets.
