Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris appears to be breathing new life into his job prospects after a three-game winning streak in the final stretch of the 2025 season. Despite a 4-9 record and an eighth consecutive losing season, Morris believes his team can turn things around with a renewed focus on winning. The Falcons' resurgence started after a 37-9 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in December, where they had dropped to 4-9. Since then, they've won three straight games, including a 24-10 victory over the New Orleans Saints in November. Morris' future with the team remains uncertain, but his words suggest he's committed to making a turnaround happen. "I think you can't ever get tired of winning," Morris said. "We want our players to be obsessed with winning, no matter the stakes." The team's recent success can be attributed to the emergence of quarterback Kirk Cousins, who has led the Falcons to four wins since Michael Penix Jr.'s season-ending injury in November. Penix, the No. 8 overall draft pick in 2024, suffered a partially torn ACL and completed just 60.1% of his passes in nine starts. A win against the Saints in Sunday's regular-season finale would mark the first season sweep against New Orleans since 2016. Morris is eager to capitalize on this opportunity, saying, "We don't like the Saints," and that he'd love to get two wins against them this season.
