The Atlanta Falcons have bolstered their quarterback room with the addition of Zachariah Branch, selected with the No. 79 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Branch, ranked as the No. 65 overall prospect and No. 14 wide receiver on Bleacher Report's final big board, is expected to bring a dynamic element to the Falcons' offense.
Bleacher Report's Damian Parson described Branch as 'one of the most dynamic athletes in the NFL draft,' highlighting his ability to make defenders miss in the open field and his potential to change games with one touch.
However, Parson noted that Branch may struggle with one-on-one matchups outside and is likely best utilized as a slot receiver or gadget weapon.
The Falcons already have Drake London and Bijan Robinson on offense, along with new free-agent receivers Jahan Dotson and Olamide Zaccheaus.
New head coach Kevin Stefanski and whichever quarterback wins the battle between Tua Tagovailoa and Michael Penix Jr. will have another fun weapon to work with in Branch.
