Singapore: Indian golfers have once again failed to make a significant impact at a major international tournament, with only three out of 11 making the cut at the Singapore Open.

Gaganjeet Bhullar stood out from the rest, finishing tied third with a cumulative tally of 7-under, alongside Japan's Tomohiro Ishizaka.

The trend of Indian golfers struggling to find form in international competitions is a worrying one, with only a few managing to break into the top 10 in recent years.

Former Indian golfers like Jeev Milkha Singh and Arjun Atwal have expressed their concerns, attributing the slump to a lack of hunger and complacency among the current crop of players.

Bhullar echoed these sentiments, stating that the lack of belief and ambition among Indian golfers is a major factor in their struggles.

Chawrasia also agreed, saying that Indian golfers should aspire to win Majors and strive to play on the PGA Tour.
