India's junior shooters will be in action this season with two medals to be decided in the women's 10m air rifle event and men's 10m air pistol competition at the ISSF Junior World Cup in Cairo, starting Tuesday.
India is fielding a strong contingent of 71 athletes, with the first batch of 58 athletes arriving in Cairo on Sunday.
The first day of competition will feature 25m pistol precision stages for both men and women, as well as 75 targets for skeet men and women.
Indian athletes, including Asian Junior record holder Shambhavi Kshirsagar and former Junior world champion Shiva Narwal, will be competing for medals in their respective events.
A total of 284 athletes from 25 countries will compete in Cairo, with India fielding the largest contingent.
