Pattaya, Thailand - 15-year-old Mumbai karting sensation Kiaan Shah, representing Rayo Racing, secured a remarkable second place finish in round 2 of the RMC Asia Trophy. The talented driver clocked 51.218s on the 1.2 km Bira circuit, narrowly missing the top spot by 0.118 seconds.

Kiaan's impressive performance saw him start fourth in heat 2, but he quickly overtook several opponents, including Japanese racer Shun Sekiguchi and Eason Tseng of Chinese Taipei, before finishing second behind Thailand's Toby Gale.

However, disaster struck in heat 3 when Kiaan's engine shut off, but he quickly identified the issue and fixed it, finishing last. Despite a mistake that saw him fall to sixth spot in the super heat, Kiaan recovered to finish fourth.

The result from all heats determined the starting grid for the final, where Kiaan had a bad start from fifth but made an daring move to fourth on lap 1. Although he was unable to close the gap with the leader, Kiaan finished second, 3.8 seconds behind Gale, who won. Stienmonkong took third place.

Kiaan's impressive performance earned him two trophies - one for the Asian Championship and one for the Thai Championship. When asked about his experience, Kiaan expressed his happiness with his driving and thanked his team for their support.
