Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola is poised to enter the transfer portal, sources confirm. The sophomore, who has two remaining seasons of eligibility, plans to explore new opportunities after the transfer window opens on January 2. According to ESPN, Raiola is seeking a program that will allow him to reach his full potential and prepare for the next stage of his career. The news comes amidst rumors of a potential departure from Nebraska, sparked by his younger brother Dayton's decommitment from the Cornhuskers' 2026 class in late November. Additionally, their uncle, former Nebraska offensive line coach Donovan Raiola, was fired on December 6. This marks the second consecutive season that transfer portal questions have surrounded Dylan Raiola. Last year, he and his team informally explored transfer options before ultimately staying with the Cornhuskers. Raiola, who is Nebraska's highest-paid player with a reported $3.5 million salary this season, has not played since suffering a broken fibula in Nebraska's 21-17 loss to Southern California on November 1. Although his injury ended his season, it's not expected to impact his readiness for the start of next season. In his second season with the Cornhuskers, Raiola completed 72.4% of his passes for 2,000 yards, 18 touchdowns, and six interceptions. Over two seasons, he has accumulated 4,819 yards, 31 touchdowns, and 17 interceptions with a 69.1 completion percentage in 22 games. Dylan's father, former NFL offensive lineman Dominic Raiola, is an All-American and Nebraska Football Hall of Fame inductee.
