Ohio State's star receiver Jeremiah Smith is finally fully healthy and raring to go for the team's Cotton Bowl clash against his hometown Miami Hurricanes. The first-team All-American, who was nursing a quad injury, confirmed that he is 100% fit and ready to take on the challenge. Smith, who nearly missed the Buckeyes' win over Michigan in November due to the injury, revealed that he was still feeling the effects of the injury during that game. However, with the help of his coach Ryan Day, he was able to will himself back to health and play a key role in the win. The 6-3, 223-pound sophomore has been in top form this season, with 80 receptions for 1,086 yards and 11 touchdowns. He is set to face off against a Miami squad that includes several South Florida natives, including three who attended his alma mater, Chaminade-Madonna Prep. "It's truly special to be facing my hometown team in the Cotton Bowl," Smith said. "I've known Joshisa 'JoJo' Trader since we were 11 years old, and to be on the same stage as him now is a dream come true.
