Midfielder Rodri has hinted at a potential exit from Manchester City, expressing a desire to return to Spain and play in La Liga. Speaking during international duty, the 27-year-old said he'd like to return to his home country, where he began his career.

Rodri, who joined City from Atletico Madrid in 2019, has regained full match fitness after a series of injuries and has been a key player for the Premier League club. However, he refused to rule out a move to Real Madrid, saying 'you can't turn down the best clubs in the world.'

Despite being happy with City, Rodri admitted that the Premier League is his 'weakness' and that he's noticing the passage of time since joining the club seven years ago. He's currently focused on recovering from an injury and regaining his previous level, with a World Cup on the horizon.
