Mumbai: Manush Shah and Diya Chitale, a young Indian table tennis duo, are targeting success at the upcoming Asian Games. They have risen to world No. 6 in the WTT rankings, becoming the first Indian pair to qualify for the prestigious WTT Finals last year.

The mixed doubles combination has taken solid strides over the past year, with Manush describing their game style as aggressive and Diya's as having tremendous control on the ball. They believe they have earned their place among the top pairs in the world and are working towards developing greater consistency in executing a basic high-level game.

Manush and Diya have already achieved success in the WTT Contender series, capturing the Tunis title and making a Star Contender final in Brazil. They are now focusing on the Asian Games, where they will face faster conditions and a challenging draw.

The duo is determined to make the most of their youth and experience, with Manush stating, "The experience part is over, now is the time we make it count." Diya added, "Winning an Asian Games medal is something we are working hard towards."
