Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha spent joyful and heartwarming moments with children at the Child Care Unit in Ujan Abhaynagar, Agartala, on Thursday.

During his visit, the Chief Minister interacted with the children and shared moments of happiness with them. The programme reflected the state government’s continued focus on ensuring proper care, safety, protection and overall well-being of children in need of care and support.

Dr. Manik Saha said the government remains committed to taking all necessary measures for the welfare and development of children. He stressed the importance of providing a safe, caring and supportive environment so that every child gets opportunities to grow with dignity and confidence.

Social Education Minister Tinku Roy and other officials and dignitaries were also present during the occasion.

The visit came ahead of the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and included moments of interaction and affection with the children at the care facility.

The state government has been emphasizing child welfare initiatives and strengthening institutional care and support systems for children across Tripura. The programme also highlighted the importance of compassion, responsibility and collective efforts in safeguarding children and supporting their future.
