A funeral prayer for Sharif Osman Hadi, the youth leader who was shot dead in Singapore, will be held on Monday. According to Inqilab Mancha, Hadi's family has requested that he be buried next to the country's national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam. Hadi, a spokesperson for Inqilab Mancha, died on Thursday (December 12) after being shot by unidentified men. He was undergoing treatment in Singapore at the time of his death. The incident sparked widespread protests in Bangladesh, which later turned violent. The government has confirmed that Hadi's body will be brought back to Dhaka on Friday evening. His funeral prayer will be held at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Monday at 2:00 pm. In a statement, Inqilab Mancha urged its supporters not to respond to any instructions or provocations from sources other than the platform itself. The organisation has also requested that those attending the funeral prayer refrain from carrying bags or heavy items. The ongoing protests in Bangladesh have raised concerns about the safety of citizens and the rule of law. The government has been working to restore order and maintain peace in the country.
