Controversy surrounds Candace Owens after she accepted a livestream invitation from Turning Point USA (TPUSA) but now claims the scheduled date and time are inconvenient. Owens, a former TPUSA member, has been making allegations against the organization and its founder, Charlie Kirk, following Kirk's death. After TPUSA issued a challenge for Owens to appear on the livestream and address her claims, she agreed to participate, stating that TPUSA could choose the time and location. However, Owens has now expressed discontent with the chosen schedule, citing a requirement for an in-person appearance in Phoenix and a clash with her own podcast's broadcast time. Social media users are pointing out Owens' initial willingness to accommodate TPUSA's schedule, with some sharing her own quotes from previous statements. In those statements, Owens seemed to agree to a flexible schedule, saying 'You can pick the place. You can pick the time. I say we do it tomorrow. We don't need to plan for this... I want it to be authentic.' It remains unclear whether Owens will participate in the livestream, given her current objections to the schedule. The controversy has sparked debate online, with some accusing Owens of being inconsistent and dishonest in her statements.
