The FBI and Providence Police Department have released fresh photos of a person of interest in connection with the mass shooting at Brown University on December 13, 2025. FBI Director Kash Patel announced the release of the new images on social media, saying that the agency is offering a $50,000 reward for information that leads to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspect. The latest photos, which appear to be derived from a dash cam video, show an individual wearing a green jacket and a black mask. However, the face in the photo is obscured by a mask and appears blurry due to the low quality of the footage. The manhunt for the suspect has been ongoing since the shooting occurred on Saturday, with the FBI and Providence Police Department working together to gather evidence and identify potential leads. In a recent development, an individual named Benjamin Erickson was taken into custody as a person of interest, but was later cleared as the investigation continued. The public is being asked to come forward with any information that may aid in the investigation. The FBI can be reached at 1-800-CALL-FBI (225-5324) or the Providence Police Department at 401-272-3121.
