The FBI has identified Keith Michael Lisa as the prime suspect behind an attack on the office of US Attorney Alina Habba. A $25,000 reward is being offered for information leading to Lisa's arrest and conviction. Habba's representatives have confirmed they are working closely with law enforcement to bring Lisa to justice. According to the FBI, Lisa allegedly entered the Peter W. Rodino Federal Building in Newark, New Jersey, on November 12, 2025, armed with a bat. After being denied entry, he discarded the bat and returned to the building, where he damaged government property. A federal warrant was issued for Lisa's arrest on November 13, charging him with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon in a Federal Facility and Depredation of Federal Property. US Attorney General Pam Bondi condemned the attack, stating that any acts of violence or threats against federal officers will be met with zero tolerance. FBI Director Kash Patel also denounced the attack, emphasizing that it is an attack on the rule of law. Habba, who supervises all federal criminal prosecutions in New Jersey, has vowed not to be intimidated by radical individuals who target her. The Justice Department has confirmed that Habba is the Acting US Attorney and Special Attorney to the United States Attorney General, tasked with overseeing federal cases in New Jersey. The investigation into the attack is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
