The father of Anna Kepner, a 16-year-old Florida student who died on a Carnival Cruise Line ship last weekend, has expressed frustration with the FBI's handling of the investigation. Christopher Kepner, who was also on the Carnival Horizon cruise ship from Florida to the Caribbean, said he has not been provided with any details about the cause of his daughter's death. The FBI took over the probe after the ship returned to Miami, cutting short the six-day trip. According to Kepner, the entire family, including Anna's stepmother and two young siblings, were interviewed by the FBI. However, they have not been informed about the investigation's progress or who is being looked at. "I have no idea what's going on right now," Kepner said in an interview. "We're just trying to sit still and wait for answers." The Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner has released a preliminary report indicating that Anna's time of death was 11:17 a.m. on November 7, but no other details have been revealed. Anna, a student at Temple Christian School in Titusville, Florida, was an accomplished gymnast and cheerleader who was set to graduate in May 2025 and join the army. Her family is still waiting for answers about her tragic death.
