Idaho Murderer Bryan Kohberger's Ego Takes Center Stage as He Attempts to Befriend Notorious Serial Killers
Bryan Kohberger is trying to befriend notorious serial killers nationwide while serving multiple life sentences for the slayings of four Idaho students.
Bryan Kohberger, the 31-year-old former Washington University graduate student, has been trying to form connections with notorious serial killers while serving multiple life sentences for the brutal murders of four University of Idaho students. According to Chris McDonough, a retired homicide detective with the Cold Case Foundation, Kohberger has been reaching out to other high-profile inmates from his cell at the Idaho Maximum Security Institution in Kuna.
McDonough, who spoke to Fox News Digital, revealed that Kohberger's attempts to befriend other serial killers may not have been successful. However, the convicted murderer is not limited to forming relationships within the prison walls. He has also been trying to communicate with people outside, a trait that McDonough believes is reflective of Kohberger's self-absorbed personality.
"He sees himself above everyone around him," McDonough said, highlighting Kohberger's arrogant attitude.
In addition to his attempts to befriend serial killers, Kohberger has been making complaints about his prison conditions, including the type of bananas he receives. In November, McDonough told the Daily Mail that Kohberger had made at least five formal complaints since his arrival at the prison.
Kohberger was sentenced to life in prison without parole for the murders of Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle, Madison Mogen, and Kaylee Goncalves. The four students were stabbed to death in the early morning hours of November 13, 2022, at a rental home near their campus in Moscow, Idaho. The sentencing took place in a Boise court on July 23, 2023.
