Imran Khan's sister Aleema Khan has launched a scathing attack on Pakistan's army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir, labeling him a 'radical Islamist' who yearns for war with India. Speaking on Sky News, Aleema claimed that Munir's 'Islamic radicalisation' drives him to fight non-believers. In contrast, she described her brother Imran Khan as a 'pure liberal' who seeks to befriend India and its allies. Aleema appealed to the West to increase efforts to free Imran Khan, whom she considers an 'asset'. The comments come as Imran Khan's health and well-being remain a concern, with his sister Uzma Khanum meeting him in prison and reporting that he is being subjected to 'mental torture'. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party has staged protests over restrictions on Imran Khan's visitation rights, with claims that his family members and senior leaders have been denied access to him for several weeks.
