Kai Trump, Donald Trump's Granddaughter, Undergoes Surgery to Repair Wrist Injury
Kai Trump, 18, underwent successful wrist surgery, sharing her journey on social media.
Kai Trump, 18, the eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr., has revealed that she recently underwent surgery to address a wrist injury that had been affecting her golf career. The surgery, performed by Dr. Thomas Graham at the Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute, successfully repaired damage to her ECU tendon and triangular fibrocartilage complex.
According to Kai's social media post, the injury had been a challenge she faced while trying to pursue her passion for golf. Despite the setback, Kai remains optimistic about her recovery and rehabilitation. She expressed her excitement to return to the sport pain-free, saying, 'I look forward to my rehab in the coming months. I am excited for the ability to play golf pain-free.'
Kai's competitive golf career is still in its early stages. She recently competed in The Annika, her first-ever LPGA Tour event, where she showed improvement during the second round of play. Although she finished last overall, her experience at a high level of competition will undoubtedly help her in the long run.
Kai is set to play collegiate golf at the University of Miami starting in the fall. Despite the wrist injury, her long-term plans remain unchanged. As the eldest of five siblings, Kai has a strong support system, including her parents, Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump, who divorced after over a decade of marriage.
