Kai Trump, the 18-year-old granddaughter of Donald Trump, made a debut to forget in the LPGA Tour's The ANNIKA event at the Pelican Golf Club in Florida. Playing on a sponsor exemption, Trump finished the first round with a disappointing 13-over 83, leaving her in 108th place on the leaderboard. Trump, who is committed to the University of Miami, showed glimpses of promise during her first outing in professional golf. She credited her nerves for some of her mistakes, saying, "I was definitely more nervous than I expected, but I thought I hit a lot of great shots out there.
