Grijalva's subsequent roles include serving on the Pima County Board of Supervisors, where she became the first Latina chair in 2023. Her focus on issues such as housing affordability, climate resilience, and education equity has made her a respected figure in Arizona politics. As for her personal life, Grijalva resides in Tucson with her husband and three children.
