In a shocking revelation, authorities have uncovered a disturbing manifesto penned by 18-year-old Christian Sturdivant, who was arrested for planning an ISIS-inspired attack on New Year's Eve. The handwritten note, titled 'New Year's Attack 2026,' detailed a chilling plan to execute a massacre at a grocery store and a fast food restaurant in Mint Hill, North Carolina, targeting up to 21 civilians. According to the Department of Justice, the document listed items such as a vest, mask, tactical gloves, and two knives, allegedly to be used in the attack. Sturdivant had been planning the attack for over a year, and after a year-long investigation, he was arrested on Wednesday. In a court appearance on Friday, officials revealed that Sturdivant had pledged his allegiance to ISIS and discussed his plans with an undercover FBI agent. The US Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina, Russ Ferguson, stated that Sturdivant's plans were in support of the terrorist organization and that he had been planning the attack for far longer than initially thought. Sturdivant is currently charged with attempting to provide material support to a foreign terror organization and is set to appear in court again on January 7.
