Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene from Georgia has made a shocking claim, suggesting that President Donald Trump's actions are behind the death threats she's receiving. Greene, a former vocal supporter of Trump's MAGA movement, found herself unexpectedly dropped from Trump's endorsement list yesterday. The reason behind Trump's move lies in their differing opinions over the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files. Trump has dismissed the matter as a 'Democrat hoax' to distract from the Republican Party's achievements. However, Greene has been a strong advocate for releasing the files and was one of the four Republican lawmakers who signed a bill to debate the matter. The debate is set to take place on Tuesday. Greene's concern about her safety is evident in her posts on X, where she wrote, 'I am now being contacted by private security firms with warnings for my safety as a hotbed of threats against me are being fueled and egged on by the most powerful man in the world.' She added that this was the same person she supported and helped get elected. The lawmaker expressed her fear, stating, 'As a woman, I take threats from men seriously.' She also drew a parallel between her situation and the fear felt by women who are victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his associates. Greene observed that Trump's aggression against her was shocking, given her history of voting for his bills and agenda. In response to Trump's attacks, Greene concluded her message, saying, 'My phone is blowing up with constant amazing support. I'm so thankful! The Political Industrial Complex and the toxic violent nature of American politics must end. Our country is worth saving and it can only be done if we pull together and save ourselves.' Lauren Greene, the lawmaker's daughter, has also expressed her concern for her mother's safety, pleading for people to 'pray for my mom's safety!' as her phone blows up with supportive messages.
