Muskegon Shooting Leaves 2 Dead, 3 Injured; Police Hunt for Suspect

A devastating shooting in Muskegon, Michigan, has claimed the lives of two people and left three others, including a 4-year-old child, injured. The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon in the Jackson Hill neighborhood.
Police responded to the scene around 3:15 p.m. on McLaren Street and Jackson Avenue, where they found multiple victims. A 25-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 22-year-old woman later succumbed to her injuries at Trinity Health Muskegon Hospital.
Two other 25-year-old men remain in critical condition at the hospital, while the child is expected to be released with minor injuries. Authorities have not revealed any information about the suspect or the motive behind the shooting. However, Muskegon Police Capt. Tim Bahorski has assured the public that there is no apparent threat to the general public.
The incident is currently under investigation, and police are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. As of now, there is no confirmation on whether the shooting was a random act or related to a specific incident, such as a home invasion.
