US Representative Thomas Massie has opened up about the backlash he faced after marrying his new wife, Carolyn Grace Moffa, just 16 months after the death of his high school sweetheart, Rhonda Massie. The couple tied the knot on November 2 at a farm in Pennsylvania, surrounded by around 150 guests, including Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Jim Jordan. Massie revealed that he and his new wife immediately resumed work on their Kentucky farm, where they even butchered chickens together as a way to celebrate their special day. The ceremony in Garrison, Kentucky remained a secret for two weeks. In a recent interview, Massie addressed the criticism he received from US President Donald Trump, who mocked him for his quick remarriage. Trump wrote on Truth Social, "Did Thomas Massie get married already??? Boy, that was quick! No wonder the Polls have him at less than an 8% chance of winning the Election.
