A devastating New Year's Day tragedy has shaken the Hollywood community. Victoria Kafka Jones, the 34-year-old daughter of renowned actor Tommy Lee Jones, was found dead in a luxurious hotel room in San Francisco's Fairmont hotel.
According to the San Francisco Fire Department, emergency personnel responded to a medical aid call at 2:52 am on Thursday. However, after an initial assessment, Victoria was pronounced dead at the scene. The San Francisco Police Department and Medical Examiner were also present.
The cause of death remains unknown, but authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward. Those with tips can text 'TIP411' and start the message with 'SFPD' or call 415-575-4444.
Victoria was the youngest child of Tommy Lee Jones and his second wife, Kimberlea Cloughley, whom he was married to from 1981 to 1996. The couple had a son, Austin, 42, and Victoria, who made her acting debut in 2002's 'Men in Black II.' She went on to appear in several films, including her father's 2005 movie 'The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada.'
Although Victoria stepped back from acting as an adult, she occasionally attended red carpet events and premieres with her father. The family is now grieving the loss of a talented young woman who was loved by many in the entertainment industry.
