According to California Highway Patrol, Zampella's Ferrari crashed on a scenic road along the San Gabriel Mountains, north of Los Angeles, at around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday. Zampella, who was driving, died after being trapped in the flames, while a passenger was ejected and later succumbed to their injuries in the hospital.
