US President Donald Trump clashed with a White House reporter on Wednesday, ahead of a House vote on the Epstein Files Transparency Act. The bill aims to force the justice department to release all documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. When asked why Trump couldn't release the Epstein files immediately, rather than waiting for congressional approval, the President responded by attacking the reporter's attitude and calling her a 'terrible person'. Trump also denied any involvement with Epstein, claiming he had thrown the financier out of his club years ago due to concerns over his behavior. However, he did allege that other prominent figures, including Bill Clinton and Larry Summers, had connections to Epstein. Trump characterized reports about Epstein as a 'Democrat hoax' and dismissed claims that the financier had provided him with financial support. The exchange took place during a meeting with Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in the White House Oval Office.
