Get ready for Christmas Eve 2025! If you're planning to send a gift or make a banking transaction, you'll want to know if your local banks, post offices, UPS, and FedEx services will be open. Fortunately, most UPS and FedEx shipping services will operate on December 24, Christmas Eve. You can check with your local post office for specific hours, but the USPS website confirms that post offices will be open, and mail will be collected from blue collection boxes as scheduled. Banks will also remain open, but some might adjust their hours. Check with your local bank branch for their holiday schedule. UPS Store locations will be open until at least 3 pm local time, but hours may vary depending on the location. You can find operating hours using the store locator. For UPS customers, note that pickup for Air and International Air services requires pre-arrangement by December 18, while UPS Ground service pickup is unavailable on Christmas Eve. UPS Express Critical, however, is available 365 days a year. FedEx services, including pickup and delivery, will be available on Christmas Eve, with the exception of FedEx Office locations, which will have modified hours. You can contact your local FedEx Office for specific holiday hours. Both UPS and FedEx offer 365-day services, including critical and custom services, with more information available by calling 1-800-714-8779 (UPS) or 1-800-762-3787 (FedEx).
