Saul Consuelos, a US Navy veteran, passed away peacefully on March 23 after a long illness. Kelly Ripa paid an emotional tribute to her father-in-law, saying she will miss him every day.
Mark Consuelos reflected on his father's journey to the United States, where he served his country for 30 years and earned a Master's degree. He described his father as a symbol of the American dream.
Mark was able to say goodbye to his father in person before his passing and found solace in rehearsing for his Broadway play Fallen Angels, which began previews on March 27.
