India's Rapid Growth: A Beacon of Hope Amidst Global Uncertainty

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit in Guwahati, emphasizing India's fast growth despite global uncertainty. Experts worldwide concur that India's large youth population, rapidly acquiring skills and driving innovation, is the key to this growth.

The government is focusing on enhancing connectivity, infrastructure, and local supply chains in the North-East region. Assam, in particular, has created a conducive business environment and formulated policies to attract industries, aiming to become a 1.5 billion dollar economy by 2030.

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that Assam will be India's growth engine, with the government working to develop the region. A state-of-the-art IT hub will be established in Guwahati, and the Centre has sanctioned two new Amrit Bharat trains, a train coach manufacturing unit, and a train engine rebuilding unit.
