HDFC Bank has revamped its Regalia Gold Credit Card, introducing changes that will impact cardholders. Starting 1 July 2026, cardholders can enjoy three complimentary visits to domestic airport lounges per quarter, but only if they spend ₹60,000 or more in the previous quarter.

For international airport lounge access, cardholders can enjoy six complimentary visits per year via Priority Pass, with no spend-based criteria. However, the dynamic currency conversion (DCC) markup has been revised from 1% to 1.75%, which may not be favorable to cardholders.

The base reward rate has been changed from four reward points for every ₹150 spent to five reward points for every ₹200 spent, which is a slight devaluation. Additionally, a card reissuance fee of ₹199 has been introduced.

On the other hand, HDFC Bank has introduced the Boarding Edge Program, which offers cardholders access to a host of benefits by uploading their boarding pass on the Regalia Gold SmartBuy portal. This includes complimentary room upgrades, buffet meals, spa sessions, and airport transfers.

Overall, the changes to the Regalia Gold Credit Card are a mixed bag, with some benefits and drawbacks for cardholders.
