Actor Alia Bhatt has questioned the Indian film industry's focus on catering to male audiences, calling for more inclusive storytelling. She pointed to the success of films like Barbie and The Devil Wears Prada 2 as examples of movies that have done well with female audiences.

Alia expressed her concern that Indian cinema still largely caters to men, wondering 'what happens to the women?' She advocated for 'gender-agnostic' content that prioritizes storytelling over targeting a specific audience.

The actor, who is currently at the Cannes Film Festival, also spoke about her upcoming projects, including Love & War and Alpha.
