Naagin 7, the latest season of the popular Indian television franchise, has found itself at the center of a controversy after viewers noticed an unedited VFX scene featuring a blue screen in the background.
The scene, which was meant to be an action sequence, showed Priyanka Chahar Choudhary's character standing at the extreme left with a blue screen visible behind her. The internet was quick to react, with many calling out the show's makers for their laziness and questioning how this could go unnoticed.
A Reddit user shared a screenshot of the scene, which featured visible wires and actors lying around, sparking a wave of reactions from other viewers. Some joked that the show's editors must have been too sleepy, while others quipped that the free limit for the AI used in the show must have been exceeded.
This is not the first time that Naagin 7 has faced criticism for its overuse of AI in the episodes. In March, show producer Ektaa Kapoor addressed the trolling in a lighthearted video, pointing out that the writers of the show were responsible for the excessive use of AI.
Naagin 7 is the seventh season of the longest-running Indian television franchise, following the story of a shape-shifting naagin who sets out to save the world while avenging her family's murder.
