Ram Charan's Peddi Scores Big at the Box Office, Upasana Celebrates with Fireworks and Cake

Telugu actor Ram Charan's much-awaited film Peddi has made a strong start at the box office, crossing the ₹100 crore mark worldwide on its first day. Despite receiving mixed-to-positive reviews, the sports action drama has impressed audiences and critics alike.

A video of Ram Charan's wife, entrepreneur Upasana Konidela, celebrating the milestone with fans has surfaced on social media. Upasana is seen cutting a large customised cake featuring the film's poster and interacting with children present at the celebration.

The film, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, is a sports action drama centred on Peddi, played by Ram Charan, a talented hired cricketer from a neglected village in Vizianagaram. The film also stars Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu and Boman Irani in key roles.

Peddi has delivered one of the biggest openings of the year, earning around ₹69 crore in India on its opening day and approximately ₹112.49 crore worldwide.
